Dr. Kevin Grayson and Dr. Matthew Perry provide the best physical therapy experience I have had. This is truly and one of a kind experience. It is one on one with the doctor. You are not being handed off several times while the doctor works with other patients at the same time. I enjoyed working with Dr. Grayson on my treatment plan to get rid of my chronic knee and shoulder pain from running and swimming. Dr. Grayson was able to get me pain free and helped me reach my half marathon race goals.

The entire staff at Auto-Ness is amazing. Dr. Perry, Dr. Grayson and Dr. Oliphant are outstanding in their field. Sabra, their office manager, with her enthusiasm and kind smile will make you feel right at home.
As a personal trainer it is crucial to have professionals in place not only for my clients but for myself as well. I love their philosophy of treating patients as a whole. We all have issues that arise now and again but it’s their drive to add to your overall quality of life that makes them ahead of the rest.
You will not find more genuinely caring people with their level of expertise.

The Science of Why: Understanding Injury Recovery Through Causal Analysis

Most people think injury recovery is about treating pain. But pain is just a symptom—it doesn’t tell the full story. If you only focus on managing pain (like stretching a tight muscle or icing a sore knee), you’re treating the effect, not the cause. That’s like bailing water out of a leaky boat without fixing the hole.
Inspired by Judea Pearl’s The Book of Why, let’s break down how causal analysis is transforming injury recovery.
By addressing the root cause of pain, we can ensure that the injury heals more effectively. This approach not only provides temporary relief but also supports long-term recovery strategies such as physical therapy and nutritional support.

Golf Injury? Here’s What Your Swing Isn’t Telling You

You step up to the tee, line up your shot, and swing—then a sharp pain shoots through your shoulder, back, or elbow. It’s frustrating when something as simple as your golf game starts causing real discomfort.
A golf injury doesn’t just appear out of nowhere. It often builds up over time, caused by mechanics, mobility issues, or even small muscle imbalances you don’t notice. Ignoring the warning signs can turn a minor strain into a major problem.
Does your lower back ache after every round? Do you feel a sharp twinge in your elbow mid-swing?

These signals mean your body is struggling to keep up with the demands of the game. Without the right care, your injury could worsen, keeping you off the course longer than you’d like.
Let’s break down what your body is trying to tell you—before a golf injury takes you out of the game.
